Welcome to my blog!
Welcome to my first official blog post! Just wanted to make this little introduction so you guys aren’t thrown off thinking “what is this for?” “I thought studywithanspt is on Instagram?” and “how is this different from Instagram?”
First of all, my initial purpose of creating the Instagram account was to share my notes and diagrams with my classmates. After a while, people started asking me “why don’t you sell them?” I knew that if I sold my notes, just one person needed to buy them, and it would spread. A bunch of other people would then get the notes for free cause sharing is caring. However, I completely understand because I would honestly do the same. Also, I already shared my notes with my entire class and other friends, so there’s no point in selling them to the few who don’t have them already.
Most importantly, I’m a broke grad student, just like the rest of you. We’re all in the same boat, and at this point, it’s not a competition. The more we help each other learn and understand concepts, the better off our profession will be in the long run.
For those reasons, I knew I didn’t want to sell my notes. But at the same time, I spent a lot of time making these notes and needed to combat the crippling student debt that was waiting for me at the end of these three years. After contemplating the best way to get compensated for my time and drawings without asking for money from my classmates, I decided to create a website. This way, I can *hopefully* earn some money indirectly by having people read my blog posts and visit my website. I can post my notes – FREE PDFs – and advice for PT school. Even though this term is supposed to be one of the hardest, I’ve just decided to run with it. You’re all welcome on this blog and journey with me through PT school, and I hope we learn a lot together!
P.S. –
While I expect absolutely nothing in return, pls consider buying me a coffee if you’ve found my notes helpful! 😊I would really appreciate it! Just click the button on the right! Lots of coffee went into making these, and I know there will be plentyyyy more this term ☕️
